In this episode I chat on about my work history…well, specifically my work history between 30 and 40; those years when a person is supposed to be “most employable”. The good ‘ol “Not-To, Not-To”, meaning not-to young and not-to old. Yep. These “Not-To’s” (as these office workers were shamelessly called by their bosses) were at the perfect 10 year span to:

  1. Give every shred of credit for any of your work to your boss because she needs to stroke her ego
  2. Do not question assignment’s or mundane tasks
  3. Know when to stop talking and walk away
  4. Know that your job is so important that you may have to cancel dinner and weekend plans when need be to finish a project that is “time sensitive”

Well, I don’t know about you but I definitely had a problem with the above list! It was exhausting and not in a good way!

These were the hardest years for me in making money, saving money, and having any money at all.

Was all the corporate office work worth my happiness? Well…I could give you a one word answer for that question. But what’s the fun in that?

So go ahead and listen to this episode NOW!
